overflow

A stream of thoughts running through my mind in the past weeks or so. I thought I’d write them somewhere in a list to reflect on the current state of mind.

| on worship

your hunger creates a low pressure for heaven to come down on. on worship leading : how can you lead people to worship if you yourself cannot access God’s presence? songs sang and caught on in church reflect the state or season in which the church is at the moment.

| on purpose in life

“ Do you know that nothing you do in this life will ever matter, unless its about loving God and loving the people he has made” – Francis Chan

Hebrews 6:1-6 Living a life conscious that it is a divine life that cannot exist but only through Him don’t be contented to go back easily and settle down in a comfortable position – time to move on to greater things! the minute you get the comfortable is the minute you should start getting up and doing things (reflective of my weekly schedule) in order that I keep being productive in my course/classes is to not go into a “lax” state of mind. Once I'm in there, it takes a while to get out

Eph 3:10-11 God’s plan is so much more than we ever imagine it to be – through the church, angels learn about God

| on our attitude towards God

Guarding my heart – its sometimes so easy to slip unconsciously into an area of un-guarding. stay focus on the battlefield.

Matt 6:21 For where you treasure is, there your heart will be also. It just takes a little bit more hunger, a little while to wait on God, a little more determination to want to learn more – often times we give up to quickly even before God can show Himself to us.

| on seasons and timing

It’s definitely a season of revealing. God is making Himself known to us, making His plans known to us. If only we would take time to seek. Ears and eyes be attentive to listen and catch what the Holy Spirit is saying.
