Finalist for Janine Stone Young Interior Designer Award 2012

The proposal consist of an apartment that houses 3 generations living together. As the Singapore’s culture is very much centered and based on family relations, it’s important especially to the older generation that family members live nearby or together. The central core allows a sense privacy within each unit. During social events, the central core timber decking is rolled out and the water feature is covered up. This acts as a bridge to connect both living space into one big area.
